Another 133 cases in a single day in Kenya, out of 3365 targeted tampons analysed. The Covid-19 does not stop even though it does not record many serious cases and even yesterday only one death was reported, compared to 33 healings that bring the number of patients discharged to date to 1286. The total contagions have thus risen to 3727, of which 2337  are still active. 
Mombasa had the highest number of new confirmed cases at 61 followed by Nairobi (53), Kilifi (7), and Busia (6). Kajiado, Nakuru, Muranga, and Kitui all reported one new Covid-19 case
The Kenyan Health Minister Mutahi Kagwe spoke from the Nyandarua County Government office, one of the nine out of 47 counties in Kenya that has not yet registered a case of coronavirus positivity, despite more than 600 targeted swabs carried out. 
"This certainly does not mean that the people of these places are immune to the virus - said the Minister - but that everyone is acting in the right way, reversing the national trend that instead sees cases growing every day.
In praising the work of Governor Francis Kimemia, Kagwe cited Nyandarua as an example to follow, both for the application of the people's strict adherence to the guidelines on the use of masks in public areas and for how they are implementing the health care system, with the preparation of 310 beds in the isolation ward of the county hospital that will soon be delivered and the training of 300 health workers who will be regularly employed.
Also for this reason, it will be one of the first counties to reopen commercial activities. A special committee is already working to formalize this within 14 days.
For all the other counties the recovery will be longer, one of the "stakes" already established by Kenyatta to be able to think about returning to normal life in the country is the provision of at least 300 beds in isolation for each county.
