More recoveries than new positivies in Kenya

Kenya continues the positive trend of many more cured patients than new positive cases.
Percentages of infection by swab always comforting (yesterday definitely under 5%) and hospitals in the process of emptying and in any case more and more organized to manage the pandemic emergency.
As regards the bulletin of the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health recorded 176 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of cases to 35,969.
During the period in question, 4,115 samples were analyzed, bringing the total number of samples analyzed so far to 494,560.
As said, there are many more cured and discharged patients: 329, which brings the total number to 22,771.
42 of the cases come from the home care program, while 286 come from hospitals all over the country.
In the same period of time, 3 patients succumbed to the disease, bringing the total number of deaths to 619.
The distribution of cases by county is as follows; Nairobi 32, Nakuru 29, Mombasa 22, Kajiado 14, Kisii 9, Kiambu 7, Garissa 6, Nyeri 6, Migori 6, Kisumu 6, Vihiga 6, Uasin Gishu 6, Kwale 5, Meru 5, Narok 3, Kericho 2, Nyandarua 2, Busia 2, Kitui 2 while Murang'a, Homa Bay, Kilifi, Laikipia, Embu, Machakos and Baringo each recorded one case.
The Ministry continues to urge Kenyans to wear masks, wash their hands regularly and keep their distance, noting that the curve has not completely flattened.
