The official Covid-19 emergency numbers in Kenya on Thursday 26 November.
There were 780 new positive cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 80,102.
Health Minister Mutahi Kagwe confirmed that the cases refer to 6158 swabs whose results were reported in the previous 24 hours.
The positivity rate is 12.6%.
So far in Kenya, since last March, 861,561 swabs have been processed in Kenya, as many as the average number of swabs analysed in 3 or 4 days in Italy.
Deaths in the country have risen to 1,427 after another 10 patients succumbed to the disease.
Kagwe said there are 1,232 patients currently admitted to various hospitals in the country.
A further 7,295 patients are in the home care programme.
57 patients are in intensive care, 32 of whom are in ventilatory support.§
In addition, 109 patients are in isolation with supplementary oxygen, of which 58 are in general wards and 24 in HDU.
In the meantime, 552 patients have recovered from the disease, 468 of whom are in the home care programme, while 84 have been discharged from various healthcare facilities.
This brings the total number of healings in Kenya to 53,526.
Of the new cases reported on Thursday, 754 are Kenyan and 24 are foreign. 
In terms of gender, 460 are male and 320 are female.
Nairobi leads with 273 followed by Kiambu with 93, Mombasa 86, Busia 85, Nakuru 40, Turkana 32, Uasin Gishu 20, Kilifi 16, Meru 13, Kajiado and Kericho 13, Kisumu 11, Nandi 10, Taita Taveta 9, Murang'a 8, Laikipia 8 and Nyeri 8, Bomet and Trans Nzoia 7. Kwale and Makueni 4, Machakos and Embu 3, Homa Bay , Elgeyo Marakwet and Tana River 2, Samburu, Baringo, Garissa, Nyamira, Marsabit, Kitui, Isiolo and Siaya 1.
