Kenya: The areas frequented by tourists remain more than peaceful.
Violent demonstrations in the opposition strongholds on Lake Victoria, Kisumu, Homa Bay and Kisii caused a dead and some contusion with some burnt tires.
Much worse went to the poor slum of Mathare, the slum on the outskirts of Nairobi where violence unfortunately is on the agenda.
Here a group of young people staged a scribble and was stopped by the police.
During the collusion, two people and two children were killed because of the tear gas fired to disperse the demonstrators.
The rest of the country is more or less peaceful and looks forward to the official results of the presidential vote.
What the European press and the media are cautiously saying is that the tourist areas, and not just those of the Kenya coast, are still quiet.
Calm at Mombasa, where they were afraid of protests, especially in the Likoni area, where they took the ferry to go to Diani and the south coast. A television service showed a serene and relaxed atmosphere.
Even in Nairobi, the situation is more than quiet.

Unfortunately, Mathare's photos are authentic.
It is hoped that other such events should not be added to the list of marginalized ones and that the echo of these episodes is not exaggerated by the media, while providing accurate and useful information.
