Kenya Shilling down for some months

Euro at 117, time to come or invest in the country

01-07-2017 by redazione

The World Economics Journal recently considered the devaluation of the Kenyan Shilling and considered that the currency of Kenya will remain at low values, compared to the dollar and euro, for at least 4 months.
"Shilling will have to face increased pressure due to the strengthening of the dollar on global markets after rising rates in 2017, and also considering that the US economy should do even better this year."
This is what is said in an economic analysis of the Nairobi Cytonn Investment Company, recently published by The Standard.
Kenya's Central Bank is on soft and optimistic positions, and other local analysts expect a resumption before the election.
Certainly the approach of the electoral turnout to elect the new president of Kenya and the incredible drought that struck the country in recent months, resulting in damage to agriculture and breeding, did not help.
In any case for foreigners, this seems like a good time to organize a holiday in the beautiful places of Kenya, between savanna, sea and mountains. Or to travel to the African country with the idea of investing in the many areas in which the Kenyan economy, despite the devaluation of its currency, is steadily growing and capable of generating good profits.
