Air Italy: 2 direct flights Milano-Mombasa

From november more chances to reach Kenya

30-09-2019 by redazione

A good news for those who fly from Italy to Kenya, with a preference for the coast, and want to have an alternative to the companies that land in Mombasa.
But especially for those who prefer direct flights from Milan.
As we already reported a few months ago, but with changes of days and times, from November Air Italy resumes to operate on the Malpensa-Mombasa route with two flights a week in addition to the existing charters but that guarantee a better offer, because in fact for some time the charter company, with the participation of Qatar Airways (which owns 49% while the majority is Alisarda) operates as a scheduled flight and without intermediate stops (Rome or cohabitation with Zanzibar).
The two weekly flights will depart on Friday and Sunday from Milan Malpensa airport and will return on Saturday and Monday from Moi International Airport in Mombasa.
These are the times: departure from Malpensa at 19.55 Italian time, arrival at 6.05 (Kenyan local time).
Return, departure from Mombasa at 8.05 am (local time) and arrival in Milan at 2.50 pm Italian time.
By making a quick online check, the cost of the return ticket for short stays starts from a minimum of € 520, but are destined to increase with the arrival of the high season. There is also a "light" fare, which does not include baggage, with only hand luggage you can save 60 euros (attention: if you book the "light" and then change your mind, the baggage at the airport will cost 50 euros each way!).
