Good news for motorists and transportation in Kenya.
The price of gas has fallen below 100 shillings per liter (just under one euro).
The decision matured after the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) announced a reduction in the price of petroleum products. In its monthly review, ERC reduced the average cost of import, which saw the petrol price down by almost 1 shilling per liter, after it had dropped by 43 cents a week ago.
The price of diesel and kerosene was also cut by Sh1.16 and Sh0.26 respectively.
In Nairobi, a liter of super gasoline will be sold at Sh98.73, on the coast at just over 99.
The diesel will be disbursed to KSHs 86.89.
Consumers will finally spend Kshs 65.05 for kerosene.
