Election 2017, Uhuru ahead of Raila

Ipsos says Jubilee is more popular then opposition

20-02-2017 by redazione

According to the first official agency IPSOS surveys regarding the upcoming presidential elections in Kenya, which will be held on August 8, 2017, the incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta would lead over rival Raila Odinga as many as 14 percentage points. 49 per cent against 35 of the opposition leader.
Two other minor candidates, Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi, barely reach 6 percent in two.
The two however are part of the wing opposition, but that does not allow the alliance to wrest the leadership of the Jubilee Party Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.
According to its potential voters, the President Kenyatta son of the "Father of the Nation" Jomo who sat on the bench for the first highest in the country, would vote for the second time by virtue of the process of reconciliation between different ethnic groups, economic development and the fight against corruption, but for which honestly still you do not see the fruits. Across the Raila fans consider it a bit 'old, but still candidabile for what will probably be his last election adventure in search of the scepter.
