Malindi: Another haute cuisine saturday at L'Onda restaurant

Seafood trip with italian Chef Gaspari at Diamond Dream of Africa

Another Saturday in the company of the titled Italian chef Giacomo Gaspari, away from the Diamonds Thudufushi Beach Hotel, who expresses his creativity for Malindi's clients in the restaurant L'Onda on the beach of the Diamond Dream of Africa Resort.
This week, Saturday, September 5, Gaspari proposes a trip to the Indian Ocean's catch, offering crustaceans and other seafood specialties including Italian-style dishes (a fine risotto with shrimp, octopus, clams and squid) and exotic dishes (a fruity lobster with mango and ginger), with the inevitable fusion touch that is one of his unmistakable traits. This Saturday proposes the cut of raw tuna with soya, cherry tomatoes, jalapeno, basil and buffalo mozzarella, but also beet linguine in soya caviar. It continues with mixed grilled fish and meat and assorted desserts.
The day starts at 12.30 pm and continues until 4 pm, with live music by the singer Pendo. Price for all courses and buffet: Kshs. 3,000 per person, excluding drinks (children under 12 years, 1500, children under five free).
