A week after its reopening with the new management by Fermento, the historic Karen Blixen Bar in Malindi has already had a taste of the goodness of its cuisine, both at lunch and dinner.
From first courses to tasty salads, seafood and land salads and an excellent pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven.
In addition to the breakfasts, where coffee and cappuccino prepared to perfection, croissants and cream bombs stand out, as well as fresh juices and many other novelties, the Karen Blixen returns after a long time to take care of the service and also to be a restaurant and, given the experience of the managers in the sector, a real cocktail bar.
From this week, for example, every day at 5 to 7 p.m. there will be "happy hour", where cocktails or drinks in the late afternoon will be combined with delicious snacks and delicacies that will turn the aperitif into a near dinner, with the possibility of making it "final" perhaps by sharing a good pizza, or ordering another spritz ...
