Male and female victory of Kenya in the 42nd edition of the Stramilano Half Marathon. Fredrick Moranga triumphed among men with the time of 1h 01:20 (third compatriot Simon Muthoni, between the two Moroccan Mustapha El Aziz).
In the women's half marathon Kenyan did even better: the victory went to Ruth Chepngetich, who raced in one hour, seven minutes and 42 seconds by setting his personal record, with her on the podium two other compatriots, Betty Lempus ( 1:09 a.m.: 25) and Pauline Esikon (1:11 a.m.: 21).
Seven thousand and fifty thousand amateur athletes registered for one of the Italian classic that starts from Piazza Castello to arrive at the Civic Arena.
Italy placed so and so, well the European marathon champion in 2010 Anna Incerti which is preceded only by Kenyan and took fourth place. In the men's race the first blue is Daniele Meucci, seventh in the overall standings.
