The announcement of President Uhuru Kenyatta has arrived and what interests our compatriots is the tourism sector is the announcement of the reopening of borders and airports: it will happen gradually: on July 15 the airports will reopen for domestic routes and on August 1 Nairobi and Mombasa will resume hosting international flights.
Given the curfews from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. which are extended by 30 days and the closure of the bars, the Government has reopened with effect from tonight the counties of Nairobi, Mombasa and Mandera, allowing travel and holidays for Kenyans.
However, the President has asked his fellow citizens to limit movements as much as possible.
