As every first Saturday of the month, the traditional market of handicrafts and organic and natural products returns at the Driftwood Club in Malindi.
Starting from the first morning, the garden of the wonderful meeting place by the ocean, on Silversand beach, will be coloured by local exhibitors.
Every month there are producers of vegetables, fruits and their derivatives, such as jams and other compotes, the delicacies of Vanessa Aniere based on Moringa and other surprises. But every craftsman is welcome: at Driftwood you can find those who produce notebooks and notepads using onion peels, or those who build nice straw lamp holders or using the local fishermen's cages.
There is no lack of books, clothes and there is always someone who prepares excellent chapati on the fly. The Farmer's Market is open to everyone.
