The Embassy of Italy in Kenya is organizing a second commercial return flight for Italians still in the African country.
Although many people did not take advantage of the first opportunity, so that only one flight could be organized with just over half of the passengers (derogation for their distance by the Ministry, but Neos plane disinfected according to current parameters), the Farnesina would have accepted from Nairobi the request for a second flight, whose date and modalities are being examined by Ambassador Alberto Pieri.
The same Pieri in a recent video message, which appeared on the social channels of the Italian Embassy, confirmed: "We are now verifying on the basis of the many requests we have received the possibility of organizing a second State flight".
Reaffirming the great availability of the consular offices and emergency numbers of the Embassy, active 24 hours a day, Pieri advised to keep himself updated on any changes in the Italian Government's provisions on who returns to Italy.
"Also in this case the Farnesina and the Embassy websites - says the Ambassador - provide all the necessary information. I also want to remind all Italian citizens residing in Kenya that they will continue to receive all the necessary assistance. In fact, the Embassy works with all its staff to guarantee every essential service to its compatriots on a daily basis, even in a period that obliges us to take strict precautions in the workplace".
