"Bar Bar" has changed ownership and will reopen before December with a completely new outfit.
The historical meeting place of the Italians, the first real Italian bar in the eighties, has lived many glorious seasons with ups and downs, but from there the history of Malindi of our fellow countrymen has passed.
Now the new owners, who belong to Kudu Safaris, which has its offices right at their side, promise to relaunch it in great style.
"We aimed at the Bar Bar precisely because it is a symbol and we want to resume the great tradition of the past, when it was the meeting place number one of the Italians, but not only". Explain the successors.
The new Bar Bar will be open early in the morning with breakfast offers, and then give Malindi the international feel he needs during the day, with a bar that will be vintage in style but absolutely modern in service.
For the coming season, the restaurant will only function as a pizzeria and grill, while the loung bar with its comfortable sofas will also offer aperitifs and drinks of all kinds. There will also be special music and entertainment events.
The new Bar Bar Bar's projects are well integrated with the relaunch of the Sabaki Center, which has recently been handed over to a management in Nairobi that has ambitious plans, with the refurbishment of the car parks and expansion of the Shopping Centre.
A restyiling that can only be welcomed positively for the development of tourism and commercial development of Malindi.
