The Hell's Kitchen in Marafa, one of the tourist attractions in the Malindi hinterland, has been officially closed to tourists for two days.
The famous karst depression that over time has formed real canyons and multicolored rock sculptures, visited every year by thousands of tourists, will remain closed for a short time, although the official reasons have not yet been confirmed.
Unfortunately, as often happens in these cases, the lack of certain information on why the closure of the so-called "kitchens of Hell", feed on the social and local media some rumors that are probably not reliable. Above all, that the closure of the suggestive tourist site, destination of day trips from Malindi and mambrui, is due to terrorist threats. Much more plausible is the information collected by us, according to which there are administrative problems at the base. In any case, those who have already passed on their concern about the inability to access and bring tourists to one of the local attractions in view of the high season. For this reason, it is thought that a solution should be found soon.
