HOSPITALITY
15-11-2020 by redazione
Another good news for hospitality in Malindi, another story of Italians who have decided to reopen their business and prepare themselves in the best possible way to receive guests.
The news of the week comes from Luna House, a well-kept and charming Boutique B&B three minutes from the town centre, in the tranquillity of the Golf Club area, 800 metres from the wild and fascinating Ocean Beach.
Like many activities on the Kenyan coast, Luna House had closed its doors last March due to the pandemic and restrictions imposed by the Government of Kenya.
Dany Valle, a dynamic and experienced Italian resident, did not lose heart and waited these months without leaving any employees at home and now, with courage and passion, she is back on track.
"There is also a sentimental reason, which is also what ties me to this country where I have chosen to live, work and spend most of my time - explains the owner - just today, on 15 November eight years ago, I opened Luna House with most of the staff and collaborators I still have today. I gave this gift to me but also to them, as well as to those who will still want to live out their dreams, in a difficult period in which it takes great optimism to move forward".
At Luna House it is evident not only the optimism, but also the care in every little detail and the predisposition to welcome and make its customers live a special stay, in the name of relaxation, freedom and comfort.
Equipped with four bedrooms, each with private bathroom, air conditioning and fans, Luna House is the ideal place to enjoy privacy but at the same time share a "corner of peace" with spaces for meditation or meeting, a tropical garden, a large swimming pool and a massage area (extra charge). One of the four rooms also has an additional relaxation area on the mezzanine floor.
Guests are not required to comply with any particular rules, timetables or rhythms imposed, but can take advantage of Dany's advice and possibly lunches and dinners dedicated to fish and shellfish or others. As well as transfers from Mombasa or Malindi, safaris and various excursions.
Wi-fi and free and safe parking are two other options available to those staying at Luna House.
