In the middle of the week the Tangeri Lounge in Malindi offers its double evening of food and music with specialties and impressive playlists.
It starts as usual on Wednesday evening with the protagonist the piglet prepared by Chef Diego and cooked in the wood oven with baked potatoes and the accompaniment of Italian polenta, in addition to the usual a la carte menu of the restaurant.
After dinner the evening continues with the Beach Party of the White Elephant with the deep House of Dj Mario di Tommaso and the reggeton of Dj Macs. For those who dine at the Tangiers on Wednesday evening the entrance to the disco is free, otherwise Kes. 500 per person.
Thursday night the Tangeri Lounge moves to Ethiopia and Eritrea, with the taste, scents and evocations of the Habesha dinner. The tasting menu consists of beef, chicken and lamb Zighini, Alicha (stew of vegetables, potatoes and cabbage), Birsin (spicy red lentils), Fitfit Silisi (spicy tomato sauce with onion, boiled eggs and pili pili) and Hamlì (spicy spinach stew), all served with Injera, the typical Eritrean bread and berberè, a sauce made with ginger, chilli, onion, coriander pepper and garlic). At the end of the dinner, for those who want, a taste of habeshan coffee or tea is offered by the house. Themed music will be the background to a unique evening for Malindi.
