Tomorrow evening, Friday, August 30 at the Mapango of Watamu will take place the evening "Miss Diva", a parade of models who have suffered sexual violence and have participated in an internship to get out of what is still a serious and widespread problem in Kenya.
Sexual violence is a real problem in any country in the world, it is not a question of age, culture or society. At any latitude there are too many battered women crying in silence. Physically and psychologically harassed.
That's why the agency Hela Models organized a gala event at the Mapango after two days of "empowerment boot camp" at the Lily Palm resort.
The fashion show will not reward the most attractive girl but the strongest one, who has managed to support the internship with personality and shows she can get out of the problems derived from the abuse suffered.
