ROADWORKS

Some of Nairobi's main roads, in the Westland district, the capital's commercial hub, will be partially closed for at least three weeks, due to major works.
There will be possible inconveniences, partly mitigated by the beginning of the holiday period for many motorists and for the inhabitants of the capital and those who work in the offices.
The Kenya Urban Rural Authority has warned that drivers who usually use the roundabout of the Sarit Centre will have to use an alternative route because of the partial closure of the stretch of road that connects the Waiyaki Way to Limuru Road.
Alternate one-way directions have been created and even at roundabouts, travel orders have been reversed.
For those who are familiar with Nairobi, you will need to use the first crossing from Lower Kabete Road and proceed to Westgate Mall, to return to the Oval.
Some minor roads will be completely closed for road remake, surely Mwanzi road will remain open.
However, it is recommended not to pass through the triangle Oval-Sarit Center-Waiyaki Way during rush hour, from today until August 12.
