Important funds for primary and secondary school

31-08-2017 by redazione

The first economic move of the new Kenyan government is for the school.
Both the obligation and the higher obligation.
The Primary School, which are elementary and middle school together according to the English system 8-4-4, in Kenya is free of charge but there are several expenses that burden individual institutions and that in the absence of funds school leaders have to recover "self-taxing" parents and sometimes even teachers.
The allocation decided by Kenyatta of two and a half billion shillings (approximately € 20 million) is a step in this direction.
The funds have already been allocated last Tuesday and will be distributed to institutions that have been accumulating expenses for too long without refunds and to pay additional teachers or other facilities.
Tomorrow, instead, a second cheque will be detached, of 6.4 billion for the "Secondary Schools", that is, the state superiors, who have to face higher expenses, both for the structures that host them and for the teaching staff.
In Kenya, there are 23 thousand primary schools and 9,000 secondary schools.
